• You might prefer to charter a bare-boat, without a captain and crew. In this situation, you and your party will be the captain and crew.
• Explore beautiful islands and coves. No timetable to bother you. Go where you please. An unforgettable vacation is yours for the taking.
• Of course, your designated captain should have some prior experience on a similar sized vessel to the one you wish to charter. A simple pre-qualification form can be filled to describe your experience. You will be required to take out accident insurance and/or provide a security deposit to the charter company.
• Ocean Ireland can provide you with independent unbiased advice on selecting which bareboat company to use. There is no charge for our services. We work with them all and know from first hand experience which companies satisfy their customers most.
• Booking through Ocean Ireland won’t cost a penny more than booking direct but you get the best independent advise by using our knowledge and experience.
• A bareboat can also be chartered with a captain if you would just like to chill-out and relax without having the responsibility. Remember that your party will be responsible for all food preparation that will be required, including the captain’s food and beverages.
